In the face of the destruction and loss in our community from the Eaton fire, we want to be available to care for the needs of those in our congregation and our broader community who have been affected.
At our church building (128 S. Oak Knoll Ave., Pasadena, CA 91101), we have items that have been donated which are available to those who could use them: cases of bottled water, blankets, non-perishable food, and toiletries.
For those who would like to give financially to our church for our relief efforts, you can go to our Online Giving page, click the link there, which will bring you to our giving page on Tithe.ly and you can select “Good Samaritan Fire Relief” as the fund from the drop-down menu. These funds will be given directly to families and individuals who have lost their homes in the Eaton fire. You can also mail a check to our church, made out to “Immanuel Lutheran Church” with “Fire Relief” in the memo line (mail to: 128 S. Oak Knoll Ave, Pasadena, CA 91101).
We also have an Eaton Fire Needs and Resources form that anyone can fill out who has particular needs in our community, or who would like to volunteer help or resources: Eaton Fire Needs and Resources Form
Thank you for supporting the work of relief and recovery in our community, as we seek to show the love of Jesus in tangible ways to those who are hurting.
